Now Enrolling for the 2021-2022
Now Registering for exciting and fun summer classes for ages 3-6!
1651 Fort Union Blvd, Cottonwood Heights
Our 5th Annual Egg Hunt and Picnic will be THURSDAY, April 1st at Mountview Park. Mountview Park is located at 1651 Fort Union Blvd. in Cottonwood Heights. FAMILIES ARE INVITED. The egg hunt will take place on the North Side of the Pavillion (It’s hard to miss all of the eggs on the field).
For the egg hunt, I will be collecting filled eggs from each student between now and March 23 so that we will have them for our party on Thursday. Please send at least 12 filled plastic Easter eggs before March 23 with your child for our Egg Hunt. (PLEASE TAPE THEM CLOSED) to make my job a LOT easier in the days leading up to the event.) If you are bringing siblings, please throw in a few extra eggs to contribute to the cause.
For the lunch, we will be having a picnic on the grass (if weather permits). If it is raining, we will eat under the pavilion. Please bring a lunch for you and your family. Also, bring a blanket if it is sunny so we can sit on the grass. I am super excited and I REALLY LOVE this fun annual tradition. Once you have finished your lunch, please make sure to clear space for the next group to come set up their blankets. Each group will start on the hour.
The Egg Hunt will be class for the day, so there will be no regular class.
***We will begin with our egg hunt PROMPTLY at the time listed on the Easter Week Events Letter. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early so you can find your child’s Easter bag, get a place in the ginormous, awesome line of children, and so your child will be ready when we start. We will follow the egg hunt with our Butterfly Release (as long as the caterpillars cooperate) and then our picnic. I will bring some kind of yummy spring dessert for everyone. There is a lot to do to prepare for this event, so please be considerate and think of any questions you may have (including location, what to bring, etc.) - in the days leading up to the event. I will not be able to answer my phone on the morning of the egg hunt. ***
We will be making some cute bags in class next week to collect our eggs in, and I will bring them to the park, so there is no need for your preschooler to bring an Easter basket to the park.
